The Care Company
Care Company is the Local outreach ministry of Christ Our Shepherd Church. We seek to inspire and equip hearts, minds, hands, and feet to follow Jesus in practically careing for our neighbors. Our vision is a city that experiences the transforming power of the love of Christ through the Church and community acting in unity.
- We provide resources to help you know and understand the specific needs in our Washington D.C. metro area.
- We equip you to act by connecting you with resources, programs, opportunities and partner organizations.
- We encourage you, ofer practical help, and come alongside you in the ways you are already helping and loving your neighbors.

Tabitha Grant
Based on the story of Tabitha and her supportive friends (Acts 9), Tabitha Grant is designed to encourage and financially help those serving and helping in our community:
The grant seeks to:
- Support worthy organizations which are "loving their neighbor" in our city and which might need financial help in getting off the ground or building capacity.
- Equip members of Christ Our Shepherd Church to identify these organizations and apply for grants on their behalf.
- Encourage members of Christ Our Shepherd Church and come alongside them in their involvement with various organizations in our city.
