Serving Ward 6 with Faith Tabernacle Church

We are partnering with Faith Tabernacle Church and The DC Mutual Aid Network to provide assistance in Ward 6

The DC Mutual Aid Network is organizing Ward by Ward to help those who are hit hardest by the economic consequences of the coronavirus. The city government has offered what it can for all of these issues, but this is not enough for everyone to be able to get by during this enormous crisis. To solve this problem, local groups have created the DC Mutual Aid Network. It has already helped thousands of residents across the city. The basic model is that donations of goods are collected at hubs, monetary donations are used to purchase additional necessities, and then grassroots organizers who already have relationships in the community are making sure that these necessities are delivered to the neighbors who are in need. Pastor Frazier with Faith Tabernacle church is one of those grassroots partners and a long time brother of Christ Our Shepherd Church and Care Company.

DROP OFF LOCATION

If you can participate, please drop items off at Christ Our Shepherd Church. Our office hours are variable right now, but if we are not at the office there is a bin near the front door. Please contact us at 202-544-9599 if you have other questions.
